This lot and home was created in September 1963 by permit of the Town to Wells F. & Catherine Stackhouse who owned the former Pike home at 126 Lowell St.
The Stackhouse family built the the with the intention of moving into it when completed. Wells was however transferred by his company to Jamestown NY and the two houses were sold this one in 1964 and the Pike house in 1965. The Cohen family have occupied the home since that time.
The home is included within the boundaries of the West Parish Center National Register Historic District.
