Frederick Batcheller built this "bungalow" from materials acquired from old Pacific Mills, Lawrence. Tax lists and directories 1920, 1921, 1923 has Fred and Ruth Batcheller, 341 Main St. (no Frederick Batcheller in 1908, 1913, 1916 listed)
The home has a gated front with field-stone pillars with arch. In the center is wooden plaque reading "Twin Cedars". (because of much arborvitae). House was originally one story. When Col. Harris bought the property in 1960's, he enlarged house, added playroom, bathroom, sliding glass doors onto back patio. Original kitchen is now a sitting room. J. Radford Abbot was architect.

Land was originally part of large farm developed by Jacob Jones of Wilmington from Hidden Road to Main St. - on land purchased 1776 from Darius Abbot and Mary Holt.
1990 new addition by architect David Stewart of Landry & Assoc. 26 Essex St., Andover.
In 2001, the house received an Andover Preservation Award for Sympathetic Addition.
In 2012, the Terlizzi's sold a portion of their land at 311 South Main Street to a developer. That developer built a home, now 313 South Main Street.
Cathy Valeri Lloyd purchased the home from Elizabeth Terlizzi on December 29, 2015.
