Architectural Description:
Bungalow Craftsman style home.
Historical Narrative:
This property was once part of a larger parcel of land and was purchased by Ernest J. & Eva Beailieu and Edward J. & Delrina Beaulieu on October 14, 1913. The Beaulieus sold off a few parcels during their ownership. Ruth E. White purchased the property on May 1, 1945. She then sold to Elphege E. & Emma D. Lemay - May 1, 1945. Lemay had earlier acquired another 2.22 acre parcel from the Beaulieus on June 12, 1943.
Maps show two houses to the rear of the lots, set far back from Andover St. One structure is now 250 R. Andover St. The second home may have been moved to this lot as the assessor office lists the construction date of 1902. When Isabel M. (Mills) Brouck purchased the property on Feb. 14, 1950 the deed states with buildings. As deeds follow land transfers and not house moving, it is only conjecture at this point.
Isabel transferred the deed over to her husband Henry J. Brouck on June 7, 1996. Henry died on October 3, 2010 and his estate was administered by Executors, Donald Brouck and Sandra Berkowitz. The property was then sold to Mark Silvstro on Feb. 23, 2012. Brouck family had owned the home for 67 years.
