Historical Narrative:
This home was built in 1948 as per record of the Andover Assessor's office. On July 23, 1948 the property was purchased by George and Margaret Rauh of Medford, MA. The property was then deeded to the Andover Lumber Co. with Robert D. Rauh, the treasurer and Alfred Leney clerk. The company was located on Buxton Court in the former Hardy & Cole co. workshop.
We believe the Andover Lumber Co. then built the house and sold it in December 1948 to Victor T. & Beatrice LaChance. The LaChance family owned for six years selling to Theodore Grasso of Methuen in Oct. 1955. Grasso then sold to Henry & Dorothy Boulanger three months later in Jan. 1956.
Boulanger held for three years then selling to Rene E. & Susanne Fredette in Sept. 1959 who owned just three years.
Alcide J. & Anita J. Roy purchased the house in June 1962 and owned for 17 years the longest residents of the home to date. Roy sold to Gregory P. & Donna M. Bracato in Aug. 1979 and they remained for 7 years.
The Wildes had from 1986-1990, followed by Robert Brenardin 7 Judith A. Normandin 1990-2001, Adam & Megan Pratt 2001-2003 and now the current owners Vincent & Tieta Giurleo of Medford, MA who purchased the property in Oct. 2003.
