Architectural Description:
Mid-century ranch style home. Hip roof, deep eave overhang, cedar shingle with brick veneer on center section. Nice curved bay center window. House trim may have been a nod to the brick homes across the street.
Historical Narrative:
From the Andover Street directories we find no listing of a resident at this address until Gustave A. & Delvina Schlott purchased the porperty on Mar. 24, 1959 and are listed in 1960. The vacant lot was sold to Sam. D. & Mary S. Pappalardo in Aug. 1952 then sold to Chester W. & Mildred J. Howell in 1955. The Howell family sold to Schlott.
Gustave A. Schlott owned a Real Estate office in Lawrence, MA. He and his wife Delvina lived here until 1973. Gustave had died on Feb. 20, 1972 when the home was sold to Gerald T. and Rose Schecher on May 15, 1973.
