Milton B. Townsend owned the property in 1869 when he sold it to Marshall Blood, wife Mary on Mar. 29, 1869. Blood once owned the paper and periodicals store on main street before retiring. The lived a few doors south of the property after Marshall retired. This may have been investment income property. Blood held for just two years then sold to William H. Smith on Apr. 1, 1871. Smith paid $2200. for the lot with buildings. He owned just two years selling to Jasper Rea on Feb. 17, 1873. Jasper owned the property next door at 58 High St. in 1884. Rea then sold to Moses S. Farnham on June 8, 1875.

Moses Farnham and family would own this property for 71 years. In 1943 Charles & Susan E. Hudon are listed in the home. Charles is a plumber. Their sons, Harold G. in in the US Coast Guard and Russell W. in the Army. David A. & Violet Binnie are also living here. David a textile worker in the Shawsheen Mill of the American Woolen Co. The home was then a two family. After WWII Harold G. & Flora G. Hudon purchased the home from the Farnham family on Apr. 15, 1946.
