This property was once part of the Boynton - Pike farm at #173 Lowell St. About four acres were parceled off in 1941 to Kate S. Pike, Lillian N. Pike and Florence N. Johnson. The Pike sisters were daughters of William N. and Emma Pike. In October 1944 Kate and Lilian had the land surveyed (Map #1496) and this home along with the Pike homestead and Florence Johnson's home at #169 Lowell St. are recorded on the plan. In 1944 Johnson quit claimed her portion of the lot. This lot, with buildings, was sold to Rodney E. & Mary Ann Ritter on Feb. 1, 1951. Rodney died in 1953 and Mary Ann remarried to Arnold Coon. In 1957 the house was sold to Florence V. Gilman who held until 1960 when sold to John J. & Cecilia B. Lamb. Eva Stephens & Ada Stephens purchased the property in June 1962 and sold six months later to W. Harold & Lillian R. Deacon. The Deacon family were long term owners of the property 1963 - 2001. W. Harold Deacon died on June 10, 1963 and Lilian later included her son William H. Deacon Jr. on the deed which he transferred back to her in 1984. Lillian died in 1987 and son William, executor of the estate, sold the home in Feb. 2001 to Mark & Tadeusz Rogala. Rogala sold to Craig R. & Cathy M. Traub in 2002 . They held the home for two years selling to Bernard J. Ristuccia Jr. Trustee of Main Street Realty Trust in 2004. The property remains with the Ristuccia family now under the name of 171 Lowell Street Realty Trust. in 2014.
