Historical Narrative:
The land was once owned by Addie E. Howarth who sold 10 arces to Grace E. Merrick on Feb 8, 1913. Merrick held the property and began to sell off parcels about 1939. This lot was sold on Dec. 5, 1939 to Michael L. & Anna C. Fitzgerald of Methuen. A month later Fitzgerald also purchased a small adjoining triangular lot in Jan. 1940. They built the home and continued to live here until thier deaths. Anna Fitzgeralds. estate sold off the property to Kate Donahue and the home was later sold to George P. & Nany N. Hager on July 16, 1958. The Hagers stayed two years then selling to to Harvey & Joyce Tucker on Oct. 31, 1960. The Tucker family have continued to occupy their home for more than 50 years. They have been active members at West Parish Church for 50 years.
