Ralph Holbrook Chandler purchased the property on Feb. 22, 1858 which included 27 acres 35 rods. Holbrook Chandler, wife Margaret then convey to his father R. H. Chandler the house lot. Ralph Holbrook Chandler, a widower, died on Aug. 27, 1861 and his estate was Probated on Oct. 1, 1861. The property went to his children; Albonira P. Holbrook and Mary A., Emily J. Joseph K, Nathan, Sarah E., Frances E. and Laura M. Chandler. It appears that his daughters occupied the home until their deaths.

Emily Jane Chandler and sister Laura M. Chandler occupied the home in 1910. Emily died on July 9, 1914. The Chandler heirs, now grandchildren, quit claimed the property to Laura M. Chandler on Nov.. 4, 1922. Laura was the youngest child of Ralph Holbrook & Phebe Chandler, b. Oct. 5, 1844. Laura died on Nov. 22, 1928 at age 84 years. She and her family are interred at West Parish Garden Cemetery in the oldest burial section.
There are no deeds from Laura M. Chandler's estate listed on the registry books. More investigation is needed to bring the ownership line forward to the present date.
